I wrote an article entitled "Zealots in Training" last month, in preparation for this year's "The Day of Silence" predictable activities.

After a week of suspensions and protest, today we found the "organized" suspended students picketing and protesting the school's principal at church on Sunday.

You can view the article and the video report this morning from 'CBS 13 News' in Sacramento.

Then, if that wasn't enough, they followed him home to his residence, and proceeded to protest all day in front of his home. He was fearful to appear on camera, and stayed inside with his family.

My article's concerns have come true. We have now educated our kids to take to the street, and to the church, and to a home and act like zealots. I'll say it again, I'm no fan of "The Day of Silence" inside of school. I have no problem discussing violence, harassment or teasing as it relates to homosexual individuals.

What I'm trying to feature is our (Christians) poor behavior and attitudes. We say we are not threatening, yet we organize our kids to protest at the school, a principal's church and personal residence...on a Sunday!

Whatever happened to keeping the Sabbath holy?

I would love your email thoughts about this growing behavior.
