Thank you for this article. I was raised Catholic but I didn't even know or understand it when I became a born again Christian at one of our church services when I was about 7 or 8 years old. I didn't know what happened except one minute I was thinking of how much I loved the person of Jesus and how I wanted to be like Him, make my life like his, then my spirit quickened inside me and I knew as clearly as one knows the sky is blue and the grass is green that God was real and Jesus was really with me. I mean really with me. I was just a kid, but I wasn't stupid. I ran my test to be sure I wasn't imaging things and I knew that God was physically a presence in my life. I couldn't see him or touch him, but he was so clearly with me. Unfortunately, I had no way of connecting the relationship I had with God with my church. The church taught tradition not intimacy so I kept that relationship secret because I literally believed no one would believe me. How sad that was for me in that regard

Yesss!

To swipe a phrase from John Bevere, the pews must be filled with Hearts Ablaze. Whichever liturgy sets the hearts of a particular group on fire is the liturgy for that group!
