Talk about roaring with laughter after reading the first sentence, then having basically re-hear Sunday's sermon in the middle of the article. Mind you that I didn't read Fridays article until Monday morning. God is certainly active. I definitely need my car replaced, repairs of my existing ride are cost prohibitive considering its age. I was planning on buying this particular car seen on a dealers website on impulse... Already had it in my head to offer a certain amount, with certain expectations. I am still learning not to go headlong into situations before spending time in my prayer closet. This article was just a friendly reminder, a Godly nudge, to do just that.

This article makes no excuses, user bertcherian. It deals with the common human fault of impetuousness, its repercussions and God's graciousness to overcome it in our lives. Many individuals described in the Bible were, in fact, quite impetuous. Take Peter for another example. Since we have all committed the sin of taking a foolish action when we should have instead exercised patience for God's solution, it is encouraging to be reminded that God, once again, gives us more grace. Take heart, user vnicely51. Your faith in God's grace for you is well placed.

Are God's children to wait like a robot for orders? Is not the Word clear on a thousand things we must do? This thing about 'timing' is over blown. As mature sons and daughters of God should we hide behind the notion that God did not specially tell me to do something, so I'll just hang around till I am eighty. (Moses did, so it's alright.)

What "perfect timing" for me to read this! I have been so depressed over not being used by God the way I thought that I would have been by now--my, I am 58! Doesn't that mean my life is about over? And in retrospect (which many people my age spend a lot of our time doing--thinking retrospectively) I am not where I thought I "should" be by now. I wasn't Kathryn Kuhlman or any other great woman of God that I thought I would be. But look! Moses was not used greatly by God until he was 80 years old. Maybe I have a few more years to go after all. God's timing is impeccable! I just need to be patient!

This article hits home. We have all made bad decisions based on our impulses. Thank God He has has given us grace. :)

This is a good article, we have a habit of wanting things and solutions NOW. We must learn to trust on the LORD, His timing His way. He alone knows what is best for us. We tend to get ourselves into deeper situations by doing things our way. The LORD is never late and His timing is perfect if we just stay in His WORD.
