Tonight's "best day of the work week topical journey" includes some fun...

The latest Rob Reiner film The Bucket List, has people talking about what they would do before they died. If you knew you were going to kick the bucket in the next few months, what would you do? My wife said she would sleep each night with a Family Bed, all the kids - with us in the bed. I think I would quit work and focus on being outside as much as I could with my family. The kids would never go to school. We'll ask you tonight starting at 5PM.

Also tonight, Northern version of Rick Warren - Ray Johnson will join us in studio. Ray is the Senior Pastor of Bayside Church in Granite Bay, California. It is one of the largest and fastest growing churches in America. We'll talk cultural topics tonight, and we'll take your phone calls on all issues starting at 6PM.

Should be a fun Friday on "The Eric Hogue Show".

Now, for those who have bee waiting for my Presidential picks, here they are in name only. I will do a weekend expose on each pick, and some of the other candidates, this weekend. Check back on Monday before Super Tuesday's big vote.

Remember, nobody is 'pure wool' in this race...

If I were a Christian Republican (and I am), I'd vote for Mike Huckabee. (although I believe John McCain wins the California Primary, and the Party Nomination)

If I were a Christian Democrat (and I'm not), I'd vote for Barak Obama.

It was a tough one as it relates to Mitt Romney and Mike Huckabee. It really comes down to the prayer factor, I like the fact that Huck is a man of prayer. A man who sincerely seeks God's direction for his life, his family and his oversight. I know he has raised taxes, he can be a bit vague - at times moderate on certain issues - and there are some concerning decisions in his past (who doesn't have those). I also know he has limited experience with foreign affairs. Still, I like him and his candor. I  like him and his honesty, and I like the fact that he is NOT a millionaire using his money to gain him position. He is a man of his own (God placed) convictions - very conservative and Constitutional, transparent in scope and ethically willing to be wrong with his own opinion being offered with integrity.

More Monday.
