Tomorrow is an election day for California. All we hear is 'make sure you get out an vote', 'go to the polls and vote tomorrow'. I agree, we should encourage people to vote, but at what expense? Most of our citizens have little passion, education or conviction, about our source and protection liberty. Much of what we hear as passing as political is 'what you can do for me' ideas that ultimately lead to more promises broken. Question, should we do all we can to increase voter turnout? Is it of the interest of the country (and our morals) to have more people vote? What's the right way to increase voters turning out at the polls?

California's 'first lady' Maria Shriver and her husband, our Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger are supporting two different candidates from two different parties. Is this a sign of 'strength in a marriage', or a weakness in a marriage? They are obviously not 'yoked' on some issues, but are they major, moral issues? Sure does create deeper communication and identity within the marriage. I'd like to hear from marriages that represent two different candidates, even two different parties. Is this a strength, or a weakness? (Little hint, my wife and I disagree on two issues this year. This is a first for us in 19-years.)
