WHAT A MOVE OF GOD...

Say what you want about Northern California, the church at large or her individual Christians, we are learning to be 'determined in making a difference' in the world we live in.

We just completed our two day 'missional effort' with Cross International, sponsoring HIV/AIDS Orphans in Africa. For a 'one time' gift of $68, a child is provided shelter, meals, education, medical attention, supplies and an adult who loves and teaches them Jesus' reach for their lives.

Our two-day goal was 300 HIV/AIDS Orphans...

I prayed about this number for weeks, we asked our listeners to sign-up for the website prayer team in preparation and we were full of hope (ownership hope) and faith (radical, active faith) that God was going to do something miraculous.

On our first night, we reached and rescued 324 kids. Then, last night, we did that and more...

The two-day rescue mission on "The Eric Hogue Show" hugged a total of 715 HIV/AIDS Orphans, as my listeners (God's listeners) contributed over $49,000. That is a total of $6,125 for each half-hour of 'live' broadcast on the show. Get this, each night we had over 200 calls to the phone center...this in only two-hours.

Know this, if you want to find Jesus, He is right there in the face of a little orphan child. The church is maturing in a marketplace, "missional" mindset. We are beginning to activate our faith and our love for the purpose of Jesus Christ and God's love for a fallen creation that needs His leading. Praise to You, Father God, for the experience the last two nights on the show, and please bless those who gave with a great harvest from Your hands.

To all who contributed, I personally thank and appreciate being your daily talk show host.
