How I needed this article today. God has been so good to me lately.....well, all of my life, but especially lately. I was diagnosed with colon cancer. Two days later after much prayer from God's people, the doctors were amazed to tell me that there are no signs of cancer in the blood or biopsy, or "thump test". I left rejoicing in the Lord, my trust and belief in Him stronger than ever. And so it continued for a week or two, but gradually that supreme joy I had experienced, that oneness with the Father, seemed to be growing dull. And I asked myself, why? Your article tells me why. I was basking in what God had already done, and kicking back enjoying it, and not daily refreshing myself in His Word and times of fellowship with Him. Praise God for your timely article which is helping me to refocus daily on our Lord. He is so wonderful, beyond words to express Who He is or what He means to me. Now, Lord, help me go out today to be a good pastor to those who are hurting.
