Though, I was pleased to hear about Dr. Dobson's changed opinion, and though I do plan to vote for McCain/Palin, I do pray everynight that right person is placed in the Oval Office come January 20, 2009. Let's face it, we have absolutely no idea what God sees, and it is always good to pray to God for His wise decision in such matters as presidential elections....

Having been a Christian for about 30 years, but a relative newcomer to observing American politics, it seems to me that a great many of my American cousins consider the greatest threat to their faith the culture around them, rather than our human nature to be satisfied with well, self satisfaction (read self-righteousness). They consider the greatest threat to their ability to live as Christians the fact that they may one day be too small a minority among infidels. Strange… it doesn’t seem to bother the Chinese church which is growing, according to all reports, by leaps and bounds. What it all means is, some people think they can only be happy as Christians if the rest of the world is compelled by the law to at least behave like Christians (as they imagine imagine Christians ought to behave). Weird. Tell me, is torture against family values too? www.robertsessford.com

Dr. Dobson, SHAME ON YOU! Many Christians look to you for direction. I don't think you sought this position of Christian guru, but now that you ARE, you are responsible to lead the sheep responsibly. #1: It is important that Christians vote (you know that). Abstention is just plain WRONG. #2: You might have mentioned that while you and the rest of the nation seem to adore Sarah Palin, her role model to little girls of a woman who has others care for her kids while she pursues her career (even if it is for the common good) is not the ideal and first choice for a woman of God with small children.

Yes! McCain/Palin is by far the best choice of the two to lead our nation, and yes! McCain/Palin would be good for our country, upholding many values Christians hold dear, but why oh why isn't anyone noticing how the enemy has crept in to destroy the family as we know it -- even with the example of this good woman??? Dr. Dobson, on this issue, you may have clay feet.

so here is my question: of Dr. Dobson wasnt going to vote for McCain, who was he going to vote for? if the answer is no one then he isnt living up to the standards set forth in his own Bible. CHRISTIANS NEED TO VOTE! By not casting your vote you cast a vote for the other guy and God forbid if Dobson harbored the intention of voting for Obama.
