I appreciate the faith building reassurance that our world is truly in the hands of our Creator! But take issue with centering the moral failing on Wall Street for bundling loans without looking at their partners in Congress who enacted legislation making the practice legal in the first place.
I encourage people to read the article A Biblical View of Economics by Kerby Anderson at the site www.centerforajustsociety.org. A healthy capitalist society has the proper balance of godly governmental oversite to offset the temptation of greed. In this case, the governmental oversite was bloated but had no power, and government officials and elected members of congress failed their constituents by not only neglecting to provide godly oversite but falling prey to the sin of greed and lining their pockets.
As a people we have not demanded accountability and TRUTH from congressional leaders.
