Someone mentioned being fair? Supposedly Christian websites are supposed to be fair and impartial while all of Hollywood praises Obama and is unfair to McCain? I'm wondering if the person who submitted the post about being fair is part of Obama's campaign? The mention of lies in the article is outrageous. As for Obama being truthful about his associations, I suppose it depends on which of his interviews you watch. On one he DID say his only connection was that he was part of his neighborhood because later he was confronted about the fact he'd also attended a campaign fundraiser at Ayer's home. Don't speak about fairness and accuse others of lying without knowing what you are talking about in the first place. This is exactly Obama's tactics. JMany years ago, Germany was suffering some difficult obstacles just as America is today. They were ripe for a man to smooth talk them into promises of a happier and more productive future so loudy cheered in a man named Hitler.

If Obama isn't the anti-christ, he's certainly preparing us for one. The difficult thing for Christians is to trust that God is in control and that this is part of His divine plan. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't do our part and vote for the right man, but it means that we should not lose hope when we see men like Obama taking control. It's really difficult not to get mad at Obama supporters because they seem so blind to the truth but it's all part of the fulfilling of prophecy. The Bible teaches that in the final days there will be those who will mix just enough truth with lies until we can no longer distinguish the truth from the lies. Pray for men who are willing to keep searching for the truth and announcing it even when the world will not listen. My favorite campaign pen shows a picture of a terrorist and says "A vote for Hussein IS a vote for change! Vote for McCain!" Four years ago I wouldn't have believed we'd ever have a president with a name like Obama Hussein.

I can't believe this Article or the republicans. Now I am not saying that Obama is innocent but some of the things in this Article are outright lies. First Obama did not say Ayers was just a guy in his neighborhood. He was honest and forthcoming about his association with Ayers and the fact that he served as chair on a board that Ayers was a part of. Second his association with ACORN he has been completely honest about. Obama has a clear view of what he wants to do for America. McCain does not. Second it has been implied that Obama is not a Christian by some posters when clearly he is. Finally, I have noticed that articles on this website are pro McCain and anti Obama. Seeing as though this website is a christian one I think the article selection neeeds to be more fair and balanced.

I think for me this article was meaningless. Both candidates are not perfect and in the end we have to vote for someone. I think running for such an office you will run into much scrutiny from the public.

Most of the Christian websites and radio stations are endorsing McCain, it seems to me. At first I was really not onboard with Obama or McCain and til' this day I still do not like a few things Obama said but in the end, I know where my vote will go. For that matter I have no idea if Senator McCain even believes in God. From the debates I am not clear on his policies. I have to agree surely with one poster here, and this is not in his/her words but to trust God and put God first. But I know where my vote will go first and I will conduct my own research no thank you media. We had one President that ran away with the Christian vote for two terms and he supports bullying other nations for the sake of oil, money, greed, and to fill his pockets while Americans like me pay the debt.

It matters very much who leads America for the next four years because the biblical principle exists that says that when the wicked are in power the people mourn. I think that the constant referral to the ethnicity of the candidates is being used as a diversion from the harsh facts that are being uncovered about them as the campains go on. I am a black woman, but my ethnicity and the candidates' ethnicities are irrelevant to me. While John McCain is an imperfect being, through debate his weaknesses and failures have been called out plainly for all the world to see. So what disturbs me is the deceptive cloak of absolute innocence and nobility that the Obama campain holds around its candidate. They use the threat of being accused of racism to create an 'untouchable' bubble around Sen. Obama. This is playing on the fears of people who fear being deemed politically incorrect in this politically correct world. But there are real questions, not rooted in racism, that need to be answered.

How can people be so deceived? Obama is the biggest deceiver of our time. Those of you who call yourselves Christians, should look again at the heart of Jesus and what his commandments are. Obama does not stand for Gods commandments nor what is best for Americans. We must pray for our country and those that are to serve our country.

Here, here, revpuente. Every article on Crosswalk has been pro- McCain/Palin. Crosswalk is ferociously anti-Obama. I'll let you all come to your own reasons as to why. revpuente - you hit the nail on the head. We need to pray to GOD to lead us to make the right choice. By the way, does anyone do any research out there? It's ALL about the slant of things. What about Freddie Mac? No one wants to bring up the fact that Obama's took a $126,349 contribution. Why? Probably because McCain took aywhere from $360,000 to $540,000 from Freddie Mac too. My point, they all have skeletons in the closet. Only GOD knows the true character of a person. HE ultimately, is in charge of ALL things. Folks,(excuse me,"Christians")ask yourself this. If McCain were Black would you vote for him? If Obama were White - would you vote for him? Uh,huh, thought so. Frankly, it doesn't matter who gets in the white house. What matters is your relationship with GOD! HE'S the ONLY Commander in Chief!

This article raises several of the reasons why voters should find out who B. Obama is, what he does, what he stands for.

ACORN is in the news now for voter fraud across the country; Obama worked for them and with them for years, and now benefits from their votes. The mortgage market is imploding, and taking the rest of the economy with it; Obama and many of his closest supporters (CEO of Fannie Mae) pushed aggressively for exactly the kind of loans that led to the failure. Concerned about Obama's loyalty? His partners have been not just not just anti-american, but were involved in direct terrorist violence against the US (Wm. Ayers).

Just as disturbing as these connections, is that whenever someone wants to question anything about the candidate, the response is shouts of abuse. This is America, and we must know who we are voting for, not to censor or silence the public.

I think what Palin is referring to (when she says "like you and me") is being proud to be an American. If you are an American who is proud to be an American and who will salute our flag, respect our leaders and care about our country, then you are "one of us," whatever skin color, family background or birthplace might be.

It seems no one is reading this article. Why have they not commented about it. May be what you have to say is just "more of the same."

Because I am a Christian, it does not be mean that I have to give my vote to McCain. Or does it?

Wake up Christian soldiers!!! Pray and let God lead you to what's best for this country.

By the way, I am Hispanic and an American citizen by choice, also. Would you consider me to be an American, or I would not be just like "you"?

May God have mercy on this great land, and may God teach Americans that every citizen in the world is a child of God; whether their name be Obama, Saddam, Jose, Johnny or Sam.

Why are we encouraging Gov, Palin's behavior when she refers to Obama as not being "like you and I". Is Obama different because of his name or because of his race? Perhasp both. Who knows.

Wake up, people.
