Divorce is the most difficult hardships one can go through. Unlike death which is expected, we never expect divorce or anticipate it. I am a survivor, almost 5 years now. I attended Divorce Care and highly recommend it to anyone who might be suffering such a hardship. I am not sure how things may have turned out if I would not have attended the Divorce Care classes. The classes help you to understand the pain and the necessary steps one needs to go through in order to heal. The goal is for you to have healing and to come out on the other side a much better person and one that does not hold unforgiveness or bitterness. Divorce Care also has a program for the children which follows the adult program. I highly recommend this program to anyone who is going through a divorce or may perhaps be considering one. It is well worth your while.
With God's grace, we will survive the heartaches.

I agree that DivorceCare is hands down the best way to deal with separation and divorce as a Christian. It has helped me to really understand what is going on with me. And more importantly I am learning God's way to handle my current situation.

I've found that one of the best things after separation or divorce is to participate in a DivorceCare group. A lot of churches have them, and some also have a companion program for kids.

They have a search tool to find the nearest group at http://www.divorcecare.org

Blessings!
