This issue is not one of left or right, it is an issue of our scriptural duty to shape the culture of our nation in the light of the the principles of moral integrity expounded in the Bible.

So, to say this article does not belong on Crosswalk, a Christian Website, is lacking.

Excellent article
Christians must be aware of the tactics of a government that is biased when choosing such a lady to perform a vital part on the future of policy making in America
This lady is obviously known for her blatant racist remarks, and as a Latin myself I must admit she should not represent neither women or Latins, let alone the American people. Her xenophobic approach should be enough to keep her out of power, yet she is the one the President chose for this task
May GOD bless us as we watch and pray.

I don't think this kind of article should be on Crosswalk. Tell me is this a conservative website or a Christian website. All Christians are not on the right. the job of the church is to preach righteous and holiness but we can't make people live right. That is a heart matter. Whether we like it or not this is America the land of liberty and that liberty is for all. That means people have the rights to be wrong. This is not a Theocratic nation, so when I come on Crosswalk I'm looking for spiritual matters.

The article says Sotomayor would be only the second woman to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court. Considering that Sandra Day O'Connor served for many years and Ruth Bader Ginsberg is still serving, this would make Sotomayor the third woman to serve on the court. If you can't get your facts straight, the entire article becomes suspect.

Her father, a manual laborer with a third grade education, died when she was nine-years-old. Her mother, a nurse, raised Sotomayor, who was diagnosed with diabetes at age eight. Sotomayer's father died when she was eight-years-old.
(contradiction, we should edit these articles better)

“Americans overwhelmingly support justices who base decisions on the law and the Constitution, practice judicial restraint, and believe judges should never make policy.
