All of you need to listen to "Neverland Landing" and then tell me MJ is not with his Savior

Neverland Landing (lyrics)....

I’ll soon be free
Of every trial
My body rest
In the old grave yard

I’ll drop my cross
of self denial
And enter on
my great reward

I'm goin There
to meet my Father
I’m going there
No more to roam.

I'm only goin over Jordan
I'm only goin over home

I want to wear
a crown of glory
When I get home
to that good land

I want to shout
Salvation's story
In concert with
the bloodwashed band

I'm going there
to meet my Saviour
Sing His praise
forever more

I'm only goin over Jordan
I'm only goin over home

[LOST? I think not.]

Aren't we as Christians supposed to pray for the welfare of others when we see they are hurting or tormented? Even if they are unbelievers? Your comment "Through all of this I haven’t ever hoped for much on his behalf." amazes me. The strangeness that you talk about in your article is a sure sign that someone needs our prayers. His constant changing appearance was a sign of something going on much deeper. I am sick that Michael had to die in order for people to see him as a human being and not some oddity. I don't wish that kind of pain on anyone. This whole tragedy has certainly made me recognize that I need to pray for those that are acting out in public. Do you think anyone would do those things on purpose? To be ridiculed? Where is your compassion?

SheilaKay, how is it that you know whereof you speak better than the author?

I have pitied Michael Jackson since just after his being the pint-sized star of the Jackson Five.

The poor kid never got to be a kid; they turned him into a product before he was old enough to know what was happening to him.

Now, I, too, must lament that as far as can be told, he never found Christ. Would that the Judge see him as the innocent he was before the entertainment world kidnapped him.

I really enjoyed this article because it speaks about his life far from the cameras and strips away the money, the fame, the music. Even when I heard that he had passed, I immediately thought about the troubled life he had been leading for so long. He was so confused and seemed so unhappy. It was like he was in a black hole that no one wanted to help him out of. I prayed for his family to get through this tough time. No matter what was going on in a person's life, a lost is still going to be painful. Like you, I hope he has peace now.

This is one of the most horrendous examples of someone writing something that they totally know nothing about except for media "crap". What makes you think that Michael Jackson's life was so horrible? If you or I had done half the things that he has done to help the hurting and disadvantaged of the world we would live in paradise. If you had taken the time to research you would have found that he had a huge support of many friends and family...that he was a loving and giving person...All you have is negative information gained by other people like yourself in the media who are always looking for the bad in anyone who does not fit into their little box... .....listen to Man in the Mirror or almost any of his music and you will see something of value a virtue or a lesson to be learned....there are so many things you do not know and this article paints a pathetic picture of someone who lived a life of loving and giving.....
