God loves us beyond all that we can imagine or contain. He wants to complete His will for our lives. If we want to live a fulfilled life in His will, we should be asking what that will is daily. That is the crux of the matter concerning marriage. Is it God’s desire and plan for us? God always puts a desire in our hearts where His plan is concerned. If the desire is present and true, then pray and expect. Check your heart motive and pray that he reveals His will in your life.

God gives visions to us all, in order to complete His will for our lives. When He gives us a vision, he also plants in our hearts seed (or desire) to complete the work, otherwise we would not buy into the vision and we would tarry instead of being compelled to pray and obey. God woes us by placing desire in our hearts along with the vision. This being the nature of God, why would we doubt that when we have the desire of marriage in our lives, He has placed it there?

If you let God search out the corners of your heart for woundedness and lack, and come up clean in this area of intimate healthy relationship with your Father in heaven, then you should trust the vision. If you have woundedness in this area, then you should be on your knees, submitting your heart to God, and letting Him heal and redeem your past. Otherwise you are wasting time that God can use to further His loving will in your life.

If He does not put the desire in our hearts; if we do not know that desire, then either it is not the right time to devote to prayer regarding marriage, or it is not His will altogether. If it is not His will, then we will not be bothered or worried about the subject.

I was on Crosswalk looking up verses when I really felt God saying to write my feelings down. I wrote a devotion based on Isaiah 54:5. I wrote about God being our husband and being satisfied by His love. Then I read this article and just had to laugh. God is perfect in His timing for each person and plan. The article helped to remind me that waiting is not punishment.God wants to continue to show us things if we will just listen.I enjoyed the article. Congratulations to the writer for listening to God and waiting for the right woman and time.May God bless their marriage.

I'm so happy for you Hudson, so very happy...my faith has been ignited once again by your testimony, to wait in anticipation once more. I'm 38, I've been told I'm a beautiful, spunky, intelligent, engaging woman. I have one of the most wonderful jobs in the world, pay my own bills and sorrounded by a large loving family.

I've been singing and serving in my local church for 12 years. Yet....am still waiting the him who my heart longs for.
I've cried, I've prayed, I've confessed, I've waited.. nothing....I've lost hope.. because it seemed the easiest thing to do. Pastors have prophesied, counselled.. yet.. nothing/ I've had a few bad relationships, but I've also had two good ones which never translated into marriage. Not beacsue they were not good men, but becasue God say no...

I'll be praying for you Hudson and on November 9th, I will connect with heaven, using you as a point of contact for my own miracle. This is the appointed time for God to show favour... it is time...
