Premier Christian Cruises Announces K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruise 2005 January 23-27; Expects Rapid Sellout

Premier Christian Cruises (PCC) announces its 2nd Annual K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruise.
The K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruise 2005 sails on January 23-27, 2005 from Port Canaveral, FL to Freeport and Nassau, Bahamas aboard the Carnival Fantasy. Hosted by K-LOVE personalities Jon and Sherry Rivers and Mike Novak, the cruise will feature a lineup of acclaimed Christian artists, including the Newsboys, ZOEgirl, Big Daddy Weave, Mark Schultz, SONICFLOOd, Brother's Keeper, Natalie Grant, Salvador, Joy Williams, Todd Agnew, Matthew West, and Everyday Sunday. Other featured guests include inspirational speakers David Nasser and Phil Newberry, comedians Jeff Allen and Mike Williams and illusionist Brock Gill.
The K-LOVE Friends & Family Christian Music Cruise's maiden voyage last January sold out in just 13 weeks after sales began in April 2003. The 2005 cruise begins its sales already with more than 60% of the cabins booked in advance. However, with 1,026 staterooms, a six-story atrium, a 1,300 seat state-of-the-art theatre, two smaller concert venues, and an outdoor stage on the ships deck, the 2005 cruise aboard the ms Fantasy will accommodate 2,600 passengers, significantly more than the first.
"After the huge success of our maiden cruise, we didn't think twice about obtaining a larger ship for 2005's K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruise," Roy Morgan, founding partner of PCC. "And chartering the entire ship allows us to program the entertainment for the cruise, creating a family-friendly atmosphere for the artists and passengers."
Lloyd Parker, General Manager of the K-LOVE Radio Network and Christian Music Planet Magazine, adds, "The 2004 Cruise far exceeded our expectations. With a larger and more luxurious ship, I can only imagine what the 2005 Cruise will be like!"
In addition to its partnership with K-LOVE, PCC has teamed with Family Christian Stores to promote the cruise through its website, stores and print catalogs. The retailer is further holding a national contest to give away a free cruise.
"Last year over 11,000 people entered the drawing at Family Christian Stores to win a free cruise," says John Sanders of PCC. "The tie-in with Family helps drive customers back to retail and exposes the artists' products to the consumer. The Cruise allows a natural tie-in for the artists to be promoted on the K-LOVE Radio Network, Family Christian Stores and Premier Production concerts nationwide."
Along with the annual K-LOVE Friends & Family Music Cruises, additional specialty cruises targeting more specific audiences within the Christian music industry are being developed, including a Worship Cruise, Christian Singles Cruise and a Girls Getaway Cruise for women of all ages.
