Plus One Celebrates Christmas on October 15

Laura MacCorkle

Senior Editor, Fun Channel

Releasing October 15 as their first holiday offering, Christmas marks the latest recording from Atlantic Records gold-selling artist Plus ONE.

Christmas follows in the footsteps of Obvious, the February 2002 sophomore effort from the Nashville based vocal quintet, made up of Nathan Walters, Nate Cole, Jeremy Mhire, Jason Perry, and Gabe Combs.  (Obvious shot to the top of the charts selling more than 41,000 units its first week out, while debuting at No. 29 on Billboard's Top 200 chart.)

A musical mix of acoustic pop and traditional orchestration, Christmas includes both holiday classics along with new Christmas radio hits.  "Oh Holy Night", "Silent Night", "What Child Is This", and a medley of "I'll Be Home for Christmas/Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas/Oh Come Let Us Adore Him" are featured in the song lineup.

Contributing producers include David Foster (Celine Dion, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Josh Groban ), Matthew Gerrard (Mandy Moore, Nick Carter), Bernie Herms (Amy Grant, Sawyer Brown, CeCe Winans), and Tedd T. (Jewel, Delirious).

Earlier this month, Plus ONE embarked on the multi-artist "Pure Pop Tour".  The star-studded lineup includes Phat Chance, Plus One, Souljahz, True Vibe and other premiere talents.  The group is also featured on the Pure Pop album which hit the streets September 3 on Squint Entertainment.
