I am disappointed with Hugh Hewitt the man who pushes blogging in his new book "In But Not Of", the man who has personally inspired me to begin blogging on my own, the man who spent his chance in the Weekly Standard last week talking about the influence of blogs on everything from media to the next election cycle - didn't blog today...wussie!
Speaking of bloggers old and new...a new one has tried to emerge as yet another "voice for the beaten down left". (Ignoring the fact that the left owns nearly all of the traditional media out there) I haven't spoken to him but from what I read of him Al Giordano has begun a blog that is more than obviously titled: "Big, Left, Outside". He certainly seems to be laced with that acidic quality that all those bloggers left of center are gifted with. (i.e. Joshua Micah Marshall's - Talking Points Memo)
In the news... Bill Clinton wants to be mayor of NYC. Do it - please Bill, I beg of you, run for mayor of NYC, please, please, please, it would make my day. (Many of them actually...) For the history of how this rumor was started check out Howard Kurtz from today's Washington Post.
I first talked about this on yesterday's show but there is a coup underway of sorts to prevent the Federal Tax cuts from really helping the citizens of this country. States and municipalities are figuring out how much their citizens are saving and starting to up state and local taxes to help make up for some of their own budget issues. The Seattle Times touched on it again today.
Something I have been harking on all year long is really gonna slam the Dems in 2004 if they do not change their ways. 88% of all Hispanics are now polling yes on the issue of whether or not Miguel Estrada should be given a vote for his confirmation in the Senate. A little MORE rope gentlemen....
Well it is Father's day weekend and I hope that each of you will take time out to - kiss your wives, play with your kids and be the kind of man "every man should be", because in doing so you go farther in changing the world faster than anyone else!
