Kerry's Female Problem

~9:53am~ EST
THEY DON'T TRUST HIM:
John Kerry has a fundamental problem with women, according to the latest Opinion Dynamics poll he trails in their support to the President. Democrats usually have to not only "win" in among women voters but do so by a margin of 10-12% to really insure victory.

This year will be no different. President Bush already is leading among male voters 10-15% depending on which poll you see. What this means is that Kerry must carry women effectively in order to have a shot.

Yesterday in my new syndicated
column on WorldNetDaily I touched on some of the reasons why I believe Bush is making such strong headway among women voters. I relayed these reasons on my radio show. I also pointed out the statistics of the new Opinion Dynamics poll that show President Bush winning 47%-45% amongst them. Lastly I also played the two newest ads that have been unveiled - one from the Kerry Campaign featuring 9/11 widow Breitwiser, and another from a 527 supporting President Bush simply titled "Ashley's Story".

In doing so I then opened up the phones exclusively for women for the duration of the three hours. I asked them simply to relay to me in their own words what they felt about the two candidates. Which one relates to them more? Who they admire more? The words they used to describe the candidates said it all.

Describing Kerry and/or Ms. Kerry:
"Unapproachable..."
"Arrogant..."
"...acts like He is better than everone else..."
"Was voting for him up until what he did with Mary Cheney..."
"Can't relate to me..."
"Insulting to mothers, schoolteachers, and librarians...who do they think they are..."
"I don't trust him..."
"...seems to say anything depending on the audience he's in front of..."
"Dishonest..."
"He sets off the BS meter inside of me..."
"Inconsistent...and that's not a good thing..."
"was asked what he liked about the strong women in his life and all he could say was that 'he married up'...lame"

Describing Bush:
"Loves his wife...I'm not married, may not ever be, but that tells me all I need to know about what he thinks of women."
"Goes ga ga over Laura..."
"Compassionate..."
"Gracious...very kind eyes..."
"honest..."
"tells the truth..."
"...gets emotional when he's asked about his wife..."
"those two are people I want my kids to grow up and be like..."

I could go on at some length. There were a total of three hours of calls and e-mails but it seems clear to me that if women have an intuition that men don't about people, it seems that intution is telling them they can't trust John Kerry.

It was even noted by one listener that in the Breitwiser ad that while she said she was voting for John Kerry - she never said or implied that she felt safe "trusting" him...

A keen observation - by a woman of course.
