ATTN MUSCLEHEADS: Blogs took delight in exposing Eason Jordan - not merely recently when he lied about our troops - but also previously when he admitted that CNN had taken bribes from Saddam to report the news his way in Iraq.
Barbara Demick of the Tribune Company hasn't yet confessed to taking bribes but in her front page story yesterday she takes the line of Kim Jong Il without even as much as a single hostile follow-up question.
Her story was titled "North Korea without the Rancor" - but really it was more like "North Korea without the Truth".
My new column today shreds Demick and the story - read it all for yourself buy contact your friends, if they subscribe to any paper owned by the Tribune Company then they are supporting the exploits of Kim Jong Il and need to be aware of what that means.
