It is that time again, when bloggers unite! "The View From Here" is hosting this month's event, "Celebration of New Christian Fiction III." A great opportunity for you to meet some new people with fresh ideas in the blogosphere.

A new blog has been launched for 24 Hour Comics Day. In the days leading up to April 23, this blog will have notes on happenings and plans for the day.
On the day itself, the blog will be updated with news as it’s happening. Folks at some of the more than 70 event sites will post descriptions and pictures of what is going on at their sites.
24 Hour Comics Day (which this year falls on this Saturday) is a day for folks to take the 24 hour comics challenge, striving to each create a 24 page comic book in 24 hours. While folks can work on their comics wherever they want, they are encouraged to join in the fun at the dozens of comic shops, museums, educational institutions, and comics clubs worldwide.
Amateur and professional cartoonists interested in taking part should go to www.24hourcomics.com for the list of event sites and are urged to contact their local site in advance to reserve space. Each location has its own event start time, with a handful of sites even starting April 22 (so long as it’s already April 23 somewhere in the world.)
Currently, it looks like the most exciting hour will be 4-5 PM Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday, when the earliest-starting location (among those who have announced start times so far) will be on the last of their 24 hours, while the latest-starting location will be on their first hour! ******
