What a great article! As a former public school teacher, I felt burdened to support my local public school by not only sending my kids, but being fully involved in the school and the PTA, but I know that's not the right choice for every family. Much more important is being fully involved in my children's lives and getting to know their friends as much as possible. That's really the only way to find out how your children think and behave when they're with their friends.
