MOM OFFERS 5 YEAR OLD FOR SEX: I never intended on doing a series on the issues of parents, and parents rights on this blog, yet I can't escape the stories. Again, the dateline is California, specifically the Bay Area, which voted 78% to give up their rights as parents in the election last week. But with parents like this one who's to say that's a bad thing?
Shannon Nicole Woods (story/video) was engaged in an online discussion with an unidentified person. During the discussion the subject became money for sex. Specifically the idea that Woods would give up her five year old daughter for sex with the person on the other end for an amount of $500.
The other person involved in the conversation then notified authorities who served a warrant to Woods, confiscated her laptop, CDs, DVDs, and some video tapes, and arrested her on charges of suspicion of lewd conduct - offering a minor for sex.
Woods is being held for $50,000.
And the reason we don't shoot people like Woods anymore is...?
