IRAN THREATENS U.S., BRITAIN, AND ISRAEL: Iran's leadership truly seems to be feeling its oats. This story out today demonstrates that Iran is only growing more stiffnecked in response to the growing pressure the world is putting upon them, rather than becoming more flexible and a good member of the world community...
The most significant part of these threats that Iran made within the last 24 hours is that they evidently have the capacity to pull them off. We have major clusters of U.S. forces throughout the region. So do the British. And of course Iran is already saying that Israel deserves to be wiped off the map... Hitting one or all three of us in any combination should be seen as a strike on the free world!
Are we responding quickly enough. Not for my taste... not at all. My new syndicated column deals with that. It seems that if the French are saying that they will use the most extreme measures necessary to stem the tide of any threats to them coming from the Iranians - then it certainly seems to me that we should be willing to be fast, accurate and lethal.
Iran, understanding this, will protect everyone, a lot more effectively. In my column I raise the possibility of an armed Hamas party in the Palestinian region, working with al-Qaida, and both working with a nuclear Iran. This isn't kids stuff - this is a lethal and increasingly probably alliance that must be recognized and dealt a blow - PRE-EMPTIVELY!
Well - Hamas is now forming an armed army...
Al-Qaida is still on the prowl, and Iran is still saying that they WILL pursue nukes...
