BRYANT MAKES A GUMBEL OF HIMSELF: Let's hear it for the pompous, self important, less than magnanimous, yin-yang named Bryant Gumbel. His latest set of comments having prompted more than one observer to coin a new term of being a "Gumbel".
I believe in biblical terms it rivals a mule... or an animal that looks something like a mule.
On February 7, Emperor Bryant decided to declare the Olympic team more or less racially inferior because of thier lack of "blackness."
"So try not to laugh when someone says these are the world’s greatest athletes, despite a paucity of blacks that makes the Winter Games look like a GOP convention." Gumbel, 2/7/06
