MANDISA AND KELLIE PICKLER: Two really great human interest stories. Mandisa comes out of the gate strong and NAILS the hit by former girl fronted group Heart. Judges loved hit - Simon puts Mandisa through - all the way to the finals.
Kellie took the first ballad of the night - judges seemed a little squishy, and the like-ability-factor worked in her favor. (I think she will get through...its hard not to love her humility.)

LIVE BLOGGING - AMERICAN IDOL: Since my good friends Brooke and Leah Barrettsmith are no longer around, I am torn on who to pull for from here on - but I know who my good friend Brooke is pulling for. Mandisa - a fellow Christian "sistah" that she had a chance to grow close to.
