HOW MUCH DOES THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CRISIS COST?: Did you see this anywhere? I still haven't - outside the MuscleHead Revolution that is. Long story short, they did the math in Colorado and for the calendar year of 2006 the cost to supply all related state services to the illegal population in that state will cost:
$1,000,000,000,000.
ONE BILLION DOLLARS for the cost of services to illegals! This is ONE BILLION dollars that has no guarantee of being paid back in taxes levied against the group receiving the services. ONE BILLION DOLLARS - for one sparcely populated state - Colorado - to handle the cost of illegals living in their borders.
How long can a state of any size hemorrhage ONE BILLION DOLLARS in a given year and not go under? Imagine what the costs are for a state like California, New York, or Texas. Do you think its more or less than Colorado?
