HILLARY CLINTON 2006: Seems that Hillary makes a bit of news everyday - regardless of her schedule. Here's some of what is being said...
Columnist and author Mike Bates rips the junior Senator from New York. He compares her rather opportunistic invokation of Jesus and the Good Samaritan and asks the important question, "How Christian is national suicide?"
Denver's Mike Rosen (columnist and talk show host) highlights some of the far left's anger with Hillary - they believe she is too centrist... Of course that was Hillary's plan from the beginning. Does anyone not think that Sheehan, Sarandon, and Ivins won't be there supporting her all the way down the stretch? Likely not...
And the feather brains are still arguing about whether she should run in 2008 or not... Sharon Stone said to wait until she was less sexy (you know Bill would like a private audience with Stone to discuss that strategy). Meanwhile Madonna is urging Hillary to ignore Stone and "go for it."
Hmmm...what is it about Stone and Madonna that make me think that neither one of their opinions matters much to Hillary and her advisors...
And at least one of Hillary's GOP Senate opponents is finally calling her on the carpet for her always puzzling, and seemingly ever moving position on abortion...
