Thank you for your article. Yesterday was one of those days...Mother's Day. Unfortunately my children were unprepared for it. My husband did his best to involve them in helping him make breakfast. They are all around teen-aged...and I grow discouraged when they seem to only like me when I am doing something for them.
Thanks for reminding me about prayer. And the story of a mom who maybe didn't have 'everything in the world" going for her, yet was faithful...and eventually reaped the reward of seeing her child do well.

Some days the road looks long...but I will, by God's grace continue putting one foot in front of the other in helping my children grow and learn. May the LORD lift up those who are weary in this journey...Like the scripture Is. 40:11. "He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. Perhaps I was expecting the acknowledgement from my kids that only God can give me.
