ELECTION NIGHT VICTORY - PART ONE: Look at the returns my friend. They say it all. In New Jersey 195,032 voters voted against the incumbent Senator Robert Menendez who receieved 144,930 votes. And Republican voters contributed 167,532 votes giving the GOP a 22,602 margin in the primary over Menendez. If November is all about turnout - then score round one to the NJ GOP. And if picking up another one more vote in the Senate for the next Supreme Court nominee that the President might very much have the chance to nominate - then you understand why taking it from the most democratic blue state on the east coast will be so so so so sweet...
So pony up some dough for Tom Kean, he's a strong candidate who can beat the rather inept Robert Menendez and do so while standing up for what is right on issues like The War On Terror, Fighting for Constitutionally minded Judges, Banning Partial Birth Abortion, and protecting marriage...
Two other wins important for NYC Metro conservatives...
Scott Garrett - U.S. Congress 5th District. Whopping big win, a strong Conservative, and someone the Garden State needs back in a big way in November...
Yesterday the state GOP in New York also did the right thing, and honored William Weld's withdrawal from the Gubernatorial primary so that John Faso who has the backing of both the NYGOP and the state's vital Conservative vote can square off against NY Attny General and general embarrassment - Eliot Spitzer.
Faso for New York Governor, Kean for U.S. Senate from New Jersey, and Garrett for U.S. Congress - have been and will continue to be making visits to The MuscleHead Revolution between now and November. We're also actively planning to host debates in the New York Governor's race, as well as the New Jersey U.S. Senate race here in the MuscleHead flagship studios.
Is there a Conservative Revolution coming in the 2006 elections. If Kean wins in New Jersey and Faso wins for Governor in New York - look for a very good night on election night in November... for right now - it is looking very, very, good!
