I grew up being told we belived in "Courtship" and having everyone tell me I was crazy. What really helped me understand it and taylor it to match my family, my beliefs and my situation is the book "Best Friends for Life" by Michel and Judy Phillips.
It doesnt just discuss courtship but everything from liberal dating to old fashioned arranged marriage(which they think is kinda crazy and outdated) and shows you the biblical view and how to pick features from each standpoint to fit your family.

Speaking as a male who has tried the courtshihp approach, I can say that it does have advantages. I was with a wonderful young lady for a year and a half, the only problem was that I wasn't in love with her. The advantage though is that I didn't have any regrets at the end of the relationship. The only drawback is that now I feel like I lost a lot of time because it took me so long to figure out that I wasn't in love.
