{{Sheila Walsh}} is known throughout the world for her singing, writing and speaking skills. As the former co-host of The 700 Club and now speaking at women's conferences around the globe, the Lord has given her a unique platform to share her testimony and the message God has given her as part of the ==Women Of Faith== gatherings. Walsh will celebrate the upcoming holiday season with her first Christmas album. Being true to her roots, the Integrity Music project will be named for those roots: Peace - A Celtic Christmas.
"I have always wanted to do a Christmas album," says Walsh. "I love Christmas music and I see it as an opportunity to bring the message of Christ to those who would not usually buy Christian albums but who love Christmas music.
"It's a unique opportunity to celebrate and worship while inviting people into His presence."
Peace offers Celtic stylings of classic Christmas carols such as "O, Come All Ye Faithful" and "Silent Night" combined with new songs written by Walsh, {{Michelle Tumes}}, Chris Eaton, producer John Hartley and others. Walsh was especially excited about the opportunity to work with the choir from her home church, Christ Presbyterian in Nashville, Tennessee. The choir joins Walsh on the songs "Gloria," "What Child Is This" and "O Come All Ye Faithful," which she points to as her favorite.
"I love the lush orchestral arrangements and I love the invitation to fall at His feet and worship," said Walsh.
Chris Eaton, Amy Furburger and {{Christine Glass}} also contribute background vocals on the project.
"My prayer for the album is that those who listen would share in the same wonderful experience of worship that I enjoyed as we recorded," says Walsh. "Christmas is such a frantic time. I hope people will put this CD on and remember what we are celebrating - the fantastic news of the birth of Christ."
"Peace is God's gift to us through Christ. No matter what is going on in life, because of Christ, I can rest. Because God broke into human history, onto our fragile stage, everything has changed for those who love him. Whether we get the answers we pray for, or the answers we dread in life, we have peace because of Christ."
