WebRock.net -- Nashville, TN - The O.C. Supertones have signed a multi-year artist management agreement with Nashville, TN-based Alabaster, Arts, Inc., effective immediately. The new agreement comes just as the Supertones are completing the last leg of the 60-city "Loud and Clear Dance Party USA" tour with supporting acts Switchfoot and Relient K.
The Supertones join an Alabaster Arts management roster that includes Katy Hudson and Jennifer Knapp, who co-owns Alabaster with her business partner, Steven Thomas. "With the Supertones you get more than talent," says Knapp. "There's purposed ministry, joy, energy and an amazing work ethic. I love that! As a peer, I'm excited every time they take the stage. As management, I guess I want to make sure everyone is yelling as loud as me!"
Alabaster Arts President Steven Thomas adds, "The Supertones are extremely hard workers. They're among an elite handful of Christian artists consistently drawing over 2,000 paid concert-goers every night. We're honored to partner with them as they go to the next level as touring and recording artists."
Band spokesman and bass player Tony Terusa says, "Our former manager, Dave Bahnsen, has helped our band get to this point since we first began working with him in the summer of 1996. It's been such an exciting run and we're grateful for all he's done for us. We're excited to see what the Lord has for us as we step into some new areas of ministry."
