Sorry brother but I don't think your argument is a good one. There are a lot of things Jesus did in his humanity that the father did not. Also there are things we can do that Jesus would never do. Sex for one thing. The most compelling reason I personally feel it is wrong is that Paul only offered marriage as the solution to raging hormones. I suppose an argument from silence still he could have offered that as a solution. The Bible does not mention it, maybe because if it condoned it we would kill ourselves and if it clearly condemned it we would be overloaded with guilt. It is every guys battle and I think we will be better off if we resist, get up when we fall and stay in the battle. One thing for sure it doesn't remove God's love for us. James Dobson has some good advice in his book "Preparing for Adolescence"

What a ridiculous argument. Masturbation is normal for men and women. God never speaks against it. Leviticus 15:16 is the only verse that may apply and it is treated as no different than a woman's period. Thinking about sex, having sexual feelings is GOOD, not bad. Masturbation shame or guilt are man-made, not from God. Its just like feeling guilty about eating pork or working on Saturday. One needs to educate their conscience that God is pro-heterosexual marital relations. He provided the ability to masturbate so you can learn what to expect when with your spouse. All orgasms are psychologicaly and physiologically beneficial as part of God's program for our health. As long as we don't obsess, hurt ourselves or pervert things, its all good. 70% of women don't orgasm from coitus: stimulation of clitoris is needed: Masturbation in other words. Thus, it is God's design for women to masturbate. Men need regular release for sexual health. If man doens't masturbate, he'll have wet dreams.

I'm just curious as to who wrote this. It doesn't seem to be attributed to anyone.

If masturbation is a sin then why would god allow these hormones into your body in the first place? Just to tempt you? Why would he design teenage boys to get erections so easily? Why would he force you to have nocturnal emissions? Isn't that beyond your control? Is it a sin to have a wet dream even though you are unable to control your thoughts while you sleep?

I am so thankful for this article, the answer is bold , sound and clear, it is SIN, period. I am delivered of it, if something that is good will it need to be delivered? set free? it is of the flesh , which mean death. Thanks

I think this is a bad use of scripture and bad logic, so it is not helpful at all. Did Jesus see his father breathe and walk? Of course not. So why did Jesus breathe and walk, thereby breaking his own promise to do nothing God did not do. Cleary the passage is not meant to be literal as you have used it or we get into some pretty crazy conclusions.

The question was answered! Yes, it is a SIN!!!! The article did more than answer the question, it gave some tools to help you relinquish this sin from your life. Please read the entire article before commenting.

The article is good and i have to get a copy of it so that i keep reading it regularly.About the comment made by the first person.I beleive the article answered saying it in black and white that it is sin to masturbate. It is not in anyway an advantage. If it is, it (masturbation) only makes one feet established in the wrong path of life.

The question was simple and you did not answer it. The question is yes / no. Is it a sin or not.
