It's been stated before, and it needs to be stated again; as Jesus' "gang of followers" in this awesome Graceland (Christians), we've been reluctant to get dirty with our Savior in the sandbox of 'real life'. We've been upstaged by great "do-gooders" such as Oprah, Bill Gates and Bono, compassionate hearts one and all. An entire generation of souls has been wiped from the face of the earth, leaving "millions" of children parentless in the wake of HIV and AIDS, and we Americanized Christians peer from behind our ivory towers which double has suburbia's gates of hell.

Where are the King's Kids, for the kids of Africa?

One of every three HIV/AIDS children die every five years. Mother's inside of the pandemic that is HIV and AIDS pray that there children 'die first'. "Jesus, please take my children before you take me, if I die first there will be nobody to hug them ,feed them or care for them." Teenage sisters turn to prostitution to provide a small, but steady income for siblings. Do you think that Jesus longs for His redeemed 'Ragamuffins' to care for these orphans? I know the hue of judgment that colors the pandemic that is HIV and AIDS. There are thousands of Christians who worship at the altar of 'tough luck' atonement, as it relates to sinful consequences. I'm just glad that my Abba Father didn't tell me 'tough luck' in the midst of my last sinful slip and self-righteous fall. Yes, it is a disease that has a correlation to gays, lesbians, homosexuality, prostitution and desperation. Tell it to the kids who are hungry, naked and slowly dying as they hear of this "God's blessed America", where real Christians really care.
