I feel the article is largely a "straw man" attack supporting a political position, not a Christian position. Taxation, tithing, etc. is talked about in the Bible briefly when contrasted against the commissions and other Christians duties outlined.

More importantly it seems most of the claims are made out-of-hand with little or nor citations of sources. Quite frankly, I wonder if the comments don't mirror articles from the Weekly Standard or the National Review.

Though I think it important that everyone participates in our political processes, I think it also important that Christians play the game straight.
