Can We Love 300 Kids Today?

Today on the show we are asking for your help in loving 300 children in 2008. Through the great ministry of Cross International, we are asking our listeners to contribute a "one-time" gift of $68 to provide for a child's medical, educational, food, shelter and gospel needs in 2008. That's right, a "one-time" gift of $68 covers the entire year.

Cross International's priority is to help "the poorest of the poor." Our ministry began in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and home to some of the most destitute people in our modern world. Efforts have since grown to reach those suffering extreme poverty in other Caribbean countries as well as countries throughout Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Projects include relief for earthquake, flood and tsunami victims, care and education for orphans and other vulnerable children, housing for the homeless, medicines and health care for the indigent, food for families suffering extreme malnutrition, and clean water for communities that have none, as well as micro-enterprise programs and other long-term development efforts to break the cycle of poverty.

In every case, our method of outreach is the same: Cross International locates needy church-based ministries serving the poor and distributes material aid through their existing programs. In this way, we can supply meaningful help where it is needed most.  In all our work we remain dedicated in our service to the Lord as good stewards of his resources in every challenge we seek to overcome.

Please help me, and the audience of "The Eric Hogue Show" in providing Jesus' love for these 300 kids today and tomorrow on the program. God will bless you for your donations to His work, through Cross International in Africa.
