Friday's Baptism Conundrum

A young man (teen, still at home) wants to get baptized but his parents don’t approve!

"I’ve been going to a youth group with some friends of mine and a few weeks ago we went away to Teen Camp. I decided I wanted to become a Christian that weekend
when the speaker was talking. Now this church is having a baptism service and I want to get baptized then along with a couple of my other friends.

The problem is that my parents don’t want me to. They think this is all going a bit too far. They don’t go to church so they don’t understand. I’m so totally fired up and just want to do this. I know this is what Jesus wants me to do but I’d pretty much have to keep it a secret from my parents. I will have to lie to them, not tell them and play it off at home if I get baptized...

Getting baptized is an 'expression', but within my family it will be a secret - "What should I do?"
