SENATE FAILS TO PROTECT MARRIAGE

ONE VOTE MORE THAN IN 2004: As much as it hurts, some silver linings emerged. The Dems lost the majority position on the matter. The GOP gained the majority. And courageous words were spoken by true shining stars in the Senate - John Thune, Rick Santorum, and Sam Brownback most notably.

In my region - all six Senators that we have influence on voted against marriage. But they did NOT do it without sweating it... Thousands of MuscleHeads reached out everyday for the last two weeks, and as late as yesterday Lautenberg staffers were hanging up on MuscleHead callers to his office. Yes it lost the vote, but now is the time to hold those who voted against it accountable for their vote - and for the arrogance and contempt they view people of faith with...
