This was a much needed article for me. My Mom passed away on 2/26 I have been so miserable without her. My father passed in 1980, my only sister in 1989. I know they are all together in heaven and am grateful beyond words to know this. But the ache I've been feeling over my mom has just about left me unwilling to live out the rest of my life here on earth, so desperate to move on to my eternal life reunited with my family. Another song that is good is by Mercy Me called Homesick. It talks about someone who has gone on to be with the Lord and though they rejoyce for that person "if home is where the heart is, I've never been more homsick now...". I know I must live this life to the fullest and when God is ready I will go to be with He and my family. Thank you for reminding me that I still have a purpose here until that day comes.
