Several weeks ago Marlene and I traveled to Cannon Beach Conference Center in Oregon for a midweek conference. The final session was devoted to questions submitted by conference attenders. We have just posted the audio of the Q&A session. When you listen to the session, you can hear Marlene asking the questions and also trying to keep me from rambling in my answers. It turned out to be a most enjoyable hour. Here are some of the questions we covered:

How often should we pray about something? Is praying once enough?
How do you reconcile God’s sovereignty and free will?
What about predestination?
Can you explain the Trinity?
Is the filling of the Holy Spirit my responsibility or God’s?
Who named the stars?
How can I tell if I am growing in humility?
Do you think God ever leads a believer into failure?
What role does intuition play in seeking God’s will?
What is paradise? Are our loved ones in heaven or paradise?
Will I meet my Mormon brother in heaven? What about my Hindu mother? I can’t bear to think about her being in hell.
Are we living in the Last Days?
What is your opinion of “The Shack"?
What does the Bible say about cremation?
How can we be good stewards in the current economic crisis?
What do you do when you have forgiven someone but they rebuff all attempts at reconciliation?
How do you feel about having a woman run for vice president?
What are the two biggest issues at stake in the presidential election?

I hope you’ll check out the podcast. The Q&A session turned out to be one of the highlights of the conference.
