7:54 AM While perusing for the quote below, I happened up The A-Team Blog, which has absolutely nothing to do with the TV show except for its motto: ""Take a stand for the truth, but do it in LOVE, fool!"

7:45  AM Here's a bit of meaningless personal trivia. I happen to be a fan of the 80s hit TV series The A-Team. You may recall that each episode began with these stirring words:

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire...the A-Team.

Yesterday I was trying to think of a famous quote by Hannibal Smith, leader of the A-Team, that came at the end of an episode called "Deadly Maneuvers" in which a team of hired mercenaries almost defeats the A-Team. When the bad guys are rounded up at the end, Hannibal addresses their leader with these immortal words:

Now the next time you think you want to take somebody out pal, don't get yourself a squad, get yourself a team.

7:44 AM To get you in the holiday, here's a website dedicated to ugly Christmas lights.
