What happened during the last week of Jesus’ life?

One-fourth of gospel record covers the events from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday. It’s as if someone hit the "Slow Down” button so we could focus on each event that took place when Jesus came to Jerusalem knowing that he was about to die on the cross.

To help us understand how it all fits together, Crossway Books has just released a new book called The Final Days of Jesus, subtitled "The Most Important Week of the Most Important Person Who Ever Lived.” Authors Andreas Kostenberger and Justin Taylor weave together the details from Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to present an easy-to-read summary of the first Holy Week. The book is short, non-technical, and spiritually uplifting.

If you’ve ever wondered what happened on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday of Jesus’ last week, or if you’ve tried to piece together the trials of Jesus or the various resurrection appearances, check out the The Final Days of Jesus.

This is the ideal week to read it.
