If you are new to this issue, there is a long history to review regarding traditional parents complaining about proposed radical changes to the school's health education curriculum in Montgomery County, MD.
The issue has made national headlines and been the subject of several Fox News broadcasts, including the O'Reilly Factor.
A recent federal court decision found that the curriculum was one-sided on the issue of homosexuality to the point where opponents free speech rights were at risk. Further, the resources suggested for teachers made the school take sides in a religious debate over homosexuality.
After a temporary restraining order from the judge prevented the school from implementing the pilot program for the curriculum, the MCPS superindentent suspended the program.
