A New Chevy Coupe for $715!

Prepare to be shocked out of your long-johns. A brand new, hot-off-the-showroom-floor Chevy coupe for $715! I think we should all be appalled at what this reveals. I, for one, will never again believe a senior citizen when he or she tells me how they used to walk two miles to school, or walk four miles to the nearest grocery store, or walk anywhere at all---because, as I discovered flipping through the 1925 "House & Garden" magazine that recently came into our thrift store, in Olden Dayz everyone used to drive everywhere, since they used to practically give cars away for free.

Brace yourself for what you're about to see.

The first picture is a photo of the cover of the magazine. Below it are photos of ads within that magazine.

Old people: The gig is up. Clearly, you never walked anywhere in your life until about 1973.

Don't you LOVE this cover? Too bad it's of a magazine filled with proof that old people lie.
$715. And they call this an "Economy Car"!! The sheer NERVE!

Ooooh, look! This one must cost $1,000! How could anyone afford it?!

I can't even talk about this one. It's just too ... appalling.
Oh, look! A real bank buster! Most families could probably only afford to ten or eleven of these! How awful!
Man, I love the look of this ad. BUT THAT'S NO EXCUSE!

Bemoan the concerted efforts of our seniors to dupe us here.
