The Midwest Book Review just published a review of my humble tome, I'm OK--You're Not: The Message We're Sending Nonbelievers and Why We Should Stop.
“Penned with gentle charm, Christian humor, love, and understanding," they wrote, "I’m OK - You’re Not deserves to be required reading for any Christian considering embarking upon an evangelical mission or career.”
Isn't that great? And wasn't it great when Famous Christian Communicator Guy Stephen Arterburn, author of the mega-bestseller Every Man's Battle and founder of New Life Ministries, said of the same book, “John Shore helps us accept that we aren’t OK, and that’s OK. As with all of John’s books, I’m OK–You’re Not is very insightful, and very funny.”
Which tickled me as much as Jim Burns, of HomeWord with Jim Burns fame, saying about I'm OK, “John Shore has reminded us that there really is a positive, healthy, life-changing way to share our life and faith–and that there is also a very toxic way to do it. With incredible wit and lots of wisdom, Shore reminds us that God loves us in the midst of all our weirdness and quirkiness, and that we are to do the same to others."
And you can't beat the associate editor of Outreach magazine doing a whole interview with me about the book, called Good News Gone Bad?
Okay, I'll stop now. But if, perchance, you'd care to see more love for I'm OK, go here.
And comment here.
