We are Loved to Love
Julianna Morlet is the girl behind the lifestyle blog, The Girl That Sings. Her blog is focused on her journey as a homemade singer, writer, speaker. If she could sum up who she is in one sentence it'd be, "A visionary idealist who wishes to conquer the world before her 25th birthday." She is the eldest of six children, and is being well-seasoned and fashioned by this life. From sexual abuse, to a blended family, to a baby sister with leukemia, to college in the mid-west and her journey as a homemade singer and worship leader, she has been led to a faith in God that cannot be shaken. You can find her at juliannamorlet.com, Facebook, and Twitter.

Today, I was reminded in the most tangible of ways, how in-tune God is with His people. He sees us and knows us and sometimes, for reasons that are maybe never there, has an over abundance of grace upon us. He provides and protects and though His will can sometimes seem out of line with His character, when I dig deeper, the bigger picture is illuminated. Like the sun piercing through the densest of fog.
Today I was reminded, just how undeserving I am of most things in my life (family, friendships, a job, a roof over my head, food to eat), and yet that graciousness and kindness compels me to make the world a little more right, a little more kind, for someone else.
We are blessed to bless. We are given to give. We are shown to show. We are built up to build up. We are freed to free. We are empowered to empower. We are loved, to love. ~
"Be strong. Take courage. Don't be intimidated. Don't give them a second thought because god, your God, is striding ahead of you. He's right there with you. He won't let you down; he won't leave you."
God can pour on the blessings in astonishing ways so that you're ready for anything and everything, more than just ready to do what needs to be done. As one psalmist puts it, He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out. This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.
