FLAPJACK was asked to leave Vietnam...

SOME SHOUT OUTS: For those who have helped get the word out... BLOGS FOR BUSHFreeSpeechFront Page MagPatriots for Bush.

Today in the journalism world another big THANK YOU! To John McCaslin of the Washington Times for his very nice summary of my interview with Lt. Thomas Wright.

EVERY NOW AND THEN A LANDMINE:
I have recieved quite a bit of correspondence today - now that the new column is out. I am also noticing that quite a few bloggers are running the story as well.

The point is in the last 24 hours Democrats have spent a mountain of energy to try and shut down the voice of Swift Boat Veterans. Many of whom have personal knowledge of Kerry's service in Vietnam. (And a reminder John Kerry is the one who asked us to scrutinize his Vietnam record...)

Some of the men have been asked to appear on Cable News programs across the country.

But the guy who appeared on my show - Lt. Thomas Wright - has yet to be recognized. I think the reason why is that his story is not able to be batted down by the rhetorical question... "Did you serve under John Kerry"?

And since when do you have to serve UNDER a guy to know what kind of soldier/sailor he was?

All of the guys in the commercial came from Kerry's division. Many of them ran missions with him - even though they were on their own boats - or in Lt. Wright's case captaining their own boats.

These guys served honorably and they have every right in the world to tell their story of what happened in Vietnam, every bit as much right to in fact - as John Kerry does...
