BECAUSE THERE WAS NO ROOM FOR HIM IN THE MEGA-CHURCH: Wishing the ACLU a Merry Christmas continues. If you have not yet done it - please do so. We have an address for actual physical Christmas cards. But now we also have the new MERRY CHRISTMAS ACLU E-CARD. Take a minute - and do both. It is vital that your actual Christmas cards continue to arrive at the national offices of the ACLU all the way up until Christmas Day. And while you're at it - include a paragraph on the inside of the card, explaining why Christmas is important to you!

My new column is out today in World Net Daily. This week I was saddened to learn that many of the super-seeker-friendly-church-is-so-easy-you-need-to-do-nothing type of Mega-Churches are locking their doors on Christmas morning.And while they have adopted a very "American" approach to "doing church", to me the pragmatism of the philosophy is causing the church to lose its power - or so I argue in the column.
