On the other hand, I am astonished @ Joel Osteen's comment... Just doing a simple quiet time in the AM everyday can give you enough biblical literacy to deal with most questions... I attend Saddleback Church here in Southern California and even the worship services are designed to take the biblically illiterate to a knowledge of the bible. When attending there biblical classes you are steeped in biblical teaching about prayer, relationships, quiet time with the Lord, tithing and bible study etc. which is all very good. And it's a seeker friendly church ! Which IMHO has great value; To the chagrin of some of the "churchianity" christians here on Crosswalk as well as on Christian talk radio. Nevertheless, I will continue to study to show myself approved.... because I am accountable to my Savior, it's the least I can do!
