A district attorney who claimed to be pro-life but then voted contrary to pro-life beliefs, has lost her run for re-election.

LifeNews.com reports that Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson did not prosecute abortionist Doug Karpen, did not listen to a grand jury that was supposed to investigate Planned Parenthood, and indicted pro-life undercover journalists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt.

In the November election, however, Anderson was firmly defeated by incoming District Attorney-Elect Kim Ogg.

Ogg is making it clear that her administration will be very different from Anderson’s, and that is why she dismissed all of those who served under Anderson, which totaled 40 attorneys.

One of these prosecutors, District Attorney Sunni Mitchell, was caught colluding with Planned Parenthood in the David Daleiden undercover journalist case.

“Part of what happens when we work to end the injustice of abortion is that corruption, which protects abortion abusers, is exposed,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman. “This serves to benefit everyone in society, even those who have little interest in abortion.”

Newman went on to say that now that Anderson is gone, Operation Rescue hopes to reopen the case against abortionist Doug Karpen and prosecute him for performing abortions over the gestation limit and doing so through inhumane means.
